It is an association of like-minded quizzers who have formed a circle of sorts to promote quizzing .It is a very popular Quiz Group that has been around since the 80's I hear. And Know what, this group has its roots in Hyderabad  I have been visiting this site since pre-teens and have found it very informative n useful.

Also I have noticed that K-Circle has Only One female Member.Me wonders if its our very own Daisy???? She's a well-versed Quizzer.

It's always late friday evening (6:30 to 8:00 pm) .. and its been like this since 1972.

It kind of worked out that way - and people do tend to get off early from their offices on a friday, and also prefer to have weekends to
themselves for rest / relaxation etc. Shifting the time to sat / sun has been discussed earlier but keeps getting rejected .. fridays are just so much more convenient for all of
us, somehow.

Hi guys,

The concept of having a quizzing group is good to say the least. Your resume is quite impressive and it attracts me a lot. I'm working with a BPO organisation and quizzing has been one of my favourite activities since schooldays. I like quizzing on sports, current affairs, business, brands and music.

I'm new to town and someone mentioned KCircle to me. As my subject has it, I would love to be a member but the sad part is that the group meets only on Fridays. Which makes it absolutely impossible for me to be a part. I'm sure many other members would have raised the same question earlier too. Is there anything on the cards for the weekends? Please do let me know how I can contribute to the group and get to know all ye quizzers too.

Thanks,

i have had bad really experiences with the K circlers, not with K circle as such. I, along with Anil and neurotron blogs fame were one of the most active quizzers in hyderabad in our school and college days which was mostly dominated by teh KC groups. they always tend to be snobs and rarely came out of their shell. but it was pleasure kicking their asses most of the time.
