Marriage in our family has always been arranged, except for a few cousins and uncles and aunts who married American people. My parents are all about arranged marriage, into muslim families within our community (mehadavi)

At the same time, my view on marriage has been influenced by my family, but I think its disgusting when parents dress their girls up like she's a barbie doll and exhibit her. I think the guy's family should ask for the girls hand.

Aquarian, wouldn't you dress up like a barbie doll when you get married or when you have an interview or you're the hostess for a function? Its just relative... if you were raised up totally in Hyderabad, you'd be decorating yourself with ornaments on every available space you have on your body, when you'd have to meet the guy! As far as these families are cocerned, it is ridiculous to some extent, but its just a festive occasion for them, so they might be justfied. What do you think?

Control garu, since 20 days I am not in Hyderabad. I am in down south.

I had gone to my native place Puthur.

Today I am in Chennai.

I visited some old places where I spent my childhood.

I met my old school friends too.

Today I saw the historic LUZ CHURCH, and ROSARY CHURCH.

We walked through the old portugese streets at San Thome.

Oh What a experience.

All those which I mentioned above where of my experiences. I was in fact being experienced.
