Man you went to the worst hindi movie.mark wrote:why are bollywood movies so damn long? i've seen a few before, but saw my first in the cinema last night, 'Veer Zara', entertaining but it made lord of the rings trilogy look concise. Wanted to go to Mughal E Azam but couldn't get tickets![]()
maybe next time.
so on the length thing, i have no problem with some once off, special, diferent, ground-breaking film being over 3 hours long, but a standard romance number with SRK and Preity (see i'm learning the lingo) would be nice if they could keep it under 2 hours. nice songs though. and cool costumes.

And do ask us for advice before going to ne hindi movie......Der Schakal wrote:Man you went to the worst hindi movie.mark wrote:why are <bollywood movies so damn long? i've seen a few before, but saw my first in the cinema last night, 'Veer Zara', entertaining but it made lord of the rings trilogylook concise. ok...so had yr first experience of driving in Hyderabad traffic! ameerpet and abids are the best test tracks!!!mark wrote:thanks guys. like i said, we only saw it cos we were too late to get tickets for MughaleAzam and it was the only other thing on in the place. We drove from Prasad (full) to a place in Ameerpet (Telegu) to a place in Abids where we finally got tickets to something at least. i have to say the film was really well produced, and Shah Rukh Khan wasn't that bad (except for playing the same character he always seems to play) and all in all i enjoyed it. also it was easy enough to guess what was going on, important if ya only have 10 words of hindi like myself. (nobody said muja buk lagi hai, or aap ka name kya hai, so i didn't stand a chance really. are there any films where these two sentences are used a lot?
