My latest signature is self-explanatory. I saw ycr's and wanted to code a better one and which gives more specific information. So I coded it last night While it outputs a graphic image, for some reason its not creating a colour gradient or using a different font (monospace). I also wanted to include the flags for each country. But thats in my next version

Hey ycr, thanks! I tested the code with more than 100 Indian IP addresses, and it works fine with all of them. Whats your IP address? Do you get to see it on the top right hand panel when you click on this link?

No Mention LW.BTW when i saw ur siggy for the first time,it was showing the country as US and ISP as something else.But now it works fine.Congrats.Jus' hafta see whether the same msg is displayed with a Firewall on.......

Oh.. I think when you were viewing it, I must have been testing it with my IP address And yes it work with a firewall on, and with proxy servers (except for anonymous proxies with which even Scotland Yard will have a hard time tracing you)



Try it with proxy address 210.150.20.181 on port 80; its a proxy in Japan.

Yep, that sig is scary. Perhaps the mods should so something about disallowing such sigs. Who know what else that thing is crawling over on my computer? May be it is pinching personal details, may be it is pinching my credit card numbers or internet banking passwords.

LOL Its just a simple PHP script, and doesn't do anything more than display your details. And I don't log any of your details (unless you want me to!!), so rest in peace.

If you are using one of those old crappy versions of (unpatched) Internet Explorer, I can rewrite it to display whats in your My Documents However, as I've stated before, I'm a cross browser coder, so I won't write IE specific code.. you are safe

hey wolfie! it displays only my ISP and IE verion correctly. the IP address and hostname it displays are wrong (I verified it with ipconfig) and it informs me that i am in USA afterall . all these days i thot i work in Hyderabad!!!!

Does CtrlAltDel work in a BPO, or a company that has the head branch in the US? If thats the case the "country" part will show up as US...



You know I think maybe CtrlAltDel has got the local IP address when he typed "ipconfig"
