After some hectic prep and amid loads of speculation,CAT 2004 was successfully completed.Well to be frank, the paper was a bit of a shocker though. There were as usual three sections but each section was again subdivided into three more sections-2 mark questions,1 mark questions & 0.5 mark questions. Moreover the number of questions was reduced to 123 from 150.
Surprises are part n parcel of CAT and this year saw quite a nasty surprise for many. But,as any coaching institute will tell, they can be overcome easily.Identifying the easier questions and answering them accurately will automatically render the surprise ineffective.
Overall,my performance was good considering that I attempted around 85 questions. But still in the dark as to what the cutoffs would be.Various coeaching centres are advocating Different Cutoff marks ranging from 54 (TIME) to 60 (CareerLauncher) and 65 (IMS).Solutions are already posted and u can find them at TIME's or IMS' websites.
My Thanx for all the well-wishers andd hoping for a grand success for everyone.......
