I thought the movie was quite good for a telugu movie. Although I agree that the first part was mind numbing and the heroine was no good either, esp the close up shots showing the excessive make up and acne which made me puke... the second half, esp the game part was good.

I like the villians dagger and the mascot for villans side - buffallo. :twisted:

That claws and wings thing, even if original and not copied from Josh, is far far away from reality. Nothing like that happens in any Indian college. But then its a telugu movie and you should leave logic and reason at home when watching telugu/hindi movies.

I only liked the game part. For someone who doesnt know any thing about rugby the movie made a good effort to explain the game. May be I was bored to death by the first part, that also explains why I liked the second part.

As for the Mascot, IT IS CHICAGO BULLS mascot, but the live mascot is very orignial of hyderabad. The milk walas of old city have a competition wherein they showcase their bulls/buffaloes and the winner is paraded with the band etc. like a groom in baraat.

Trivia: Did you know that India is the second oldest Rugby playing nation in the world?

Yes, Rugby was played in Indian before cricket was introduced. Both Cricket and rugby were introduced by britishers, but I guess indians found rugby a bit gruelling and physically taxing, while cricket is a bit laid back, gentlemen game.
