A 'Gooey' Q:What did Steven Levy,a reporter for the New Jersey monthly find at Thomas Harvey's (a pathologist at a small hospital in Princeton NJ) house inside a box labeled 'Costa Cider' in two big Mason jars?

This is pure guess work but the only famous mountaineering expedition is the Mt.Everest one so I am guessing Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norway while coming down.
