Fahrenheit 9/11

by Sujatha » Mon Nov 08, 2004 12:34 am

It is a brave step by a director.

How come a film director can openly criticize, and make so much fun and joke against the existing president?

Michael moore must really be brave.

In India, is it possible to make such movies?

President George Bush has become the real joker.

Are the clippings are original are cooked up one?

I have this doubt.

Second part is serious. It is a surprising fact that totally unemployed people in USA have joined US Army/ Joining US Army. It is a comedy on two officers trying to catch young guys to join US Army.

In Prasadz only 50% of the seats were occupied.

Before entering inside the hall, one of the Prasadz staff was commenting that movie is not good.

If the findings of Michael are true, those Americans are idiots to have elected George Bush.

its a total shock how the ameicans could vote for bush after all that has been shown in the movie. but then the americans are americans and what i have been told is that all the americans consider it their right to protect democracy. and bush has brainwashed them into beleiving that what he did was for peace. its the big brother attitude that made them vote for the mass murder bush. theres also a book by michael moore titled "Dude wheres my country ". interesting read. he made the movie on the lines of the book. and yes the americans are proud morons.now thats and oxymoron there :D.

ok, my 2 paise like was piraamissed last nite:

yep, as a documentary aimed to diss someone it achieves spectacular success but as something to drive home a debate it struggles with too much of a bias. Even tho, i agree with Mr.Moore whole-heartedly on his vehement anti-Bush stand, there has to be two sides to a coin presented. A well-made docu worth a watch n as DM said, makes u wonder wtf Bush's still doin in the White House

i'd rate is 4-Stars 8)

Anyways, what has Kerry accomplished in his 20 years of "senate service"?

NO, sweetie. Rednecks are those who marry their cousins. People who are considered rednecks live in upper midwest (think utah, nebraska etc) Yee-haw is something Texans say. All texans are not rednecks, and not all rednecks are texans.

On topic...what Jaan said here is correct. Americans...poor them...as I said earlier too....had a pitiful choice to make. An idiot versus a glib-talking good for nothing. I'm sure if Kerry had some strong republican competition....he would have hardly made any splashes. Kerry had it lucky. He achieved whatever he did solely because his competition was an utter nincompoop.

P.S. : And vice versa.

Its unfortunate that Bush Jr. will occupy the White House for the next four years. The statements he makes are usually fuzzy and retarded, but I guess people find his flaws normal. Most of the votes came from southern states, where people are religious and see him as a 'good 'ol down home, ranch-raised religious boy. He tends to use God a lot in his speeches, addresses, debates, etc which won him many hearts as well as votes. His twin daughters took after him---they are drunkards and party animals to the max and were pulled over by police twice for DUI, the younger one was arrested for DUI once. Bush SR. was known to enjoy one too many cocktails himself.

Anyway, all I care about is the end of the war. If he can do that (which is like asking pigs to fly backwards) then I will have no problem with him being president. Also the gas prices are a big concern nationwide, I hate paying $2.29 a gallon. He should stabalize the economy, provide health plans for the elderly and children and increase the teacher's pay, whicle funding public schools. These are things needed immediately-------SO GET TO WORK COUNTRY BOY!!

I noticed that you had strong religious opinions yourself. So what if what he belives in tend to show in his speech? What he does say comes from his heart and his faith.

His twin daughters took after him---they are drunkards and party animals to the max and were pulled over by police twice for DUI, the younger one was arrested for DUI once. Bush SR. was known to enjoy one too many cocktails himself.

If you didn't notice: all the rich people are like that, and unfortunately for them these people got caught. Tabloids and newspapers love that kind of gossip. The twins have nothing to do with their father's way of running thecountry. I am sorry if you were looking for them to be your role models. And, don't speak about Bush Sr. None of us was alive when he was president so your argument is not justified.

Anyway, all I care about is the end of the war. If he can do that (which is like asking pigs to fly backwards) then I will have no problem with him being president.

Whether you agree or disagree with the war, you CANNOT pull out of a war and leave the country alone! That is simply not done! You need to leave when the country can fend for itself against all the insurgencies and etc. To o many groups will spring for the vacant power and destroy the country all over again.

Also the gas prices are a big concern nationwide, I hate paying $2.29 a gallon. He should stabalize the economy, provide health plans for the elderly and children and increase the teacher's pay, whicle funding public schools.

This country is AT WAR. I repeat, AT WAR. At wartimes, all the prices go up and economy fluctuates accordingly. Every business is discovering the profits of outsourcing, so money needed here is being diverted. I don't hear anyone complaining over the cheap prices of products, would you be willing to pay at least 75% more for products/service just so they are "in America" instead of another country? I think not.

These are things needed immediately-------SO GET TO WORK COUNTRY BOY!!

He is. And he cannot do any work if there are so many that disagree with him. Give him some time, likely he will wrap up the war the first two years of his second term and the next two, he will focus on the other objectives.

All this springs from that one movie from Michael Moore! Have you investigated yourself what this is all about? If you didn't notice, Michael Moore tends to show one side of the story. And, because your liberal values don't match up with Bush's is not enough reason. He is a politican, you tend to like or dislike the lot.

Anyways, It is not "blood for blood." He is not fighting his daddy's war, contary to all the rumors you have heard.

Saddam Hussien was a threat to America, was repressing his people and not following the UN sanctions.
