Hyderabad Central opened today and methinks its gonna be swell place.If one goes by the pantaloon people's tradition & Bangalore Central,this one's gonna rock.........

I weont to Bangalore Central & was enthralled by the sheer Magnificience of the mall.Spanning Five floors,'twas Huge and took me three days to visit every section.On the downside,the prices are thru the roof.Almost made me Bankrupt

Luckily had my return tkt confirmed otherwise wud have been in a spot of bother there :lol:

IMO the PVR ain't gonna open till January.Until then Prasadz will have to do.But come January,u know where the Yuppie crowd'll be heading 4 quality Entertainment n Absolute Timepass.............

been to Hyd Central today...more to have a look rather than to shop! 4 floors (0-3) of shopping n eats and the 5th floor for the multiplex (under construction).

its a damn nice place to hang out with friends. there's a Java Green for coffee and a food court on the 4th floor. i think theres food at '0' level too.

a bit of good news is that they have a 2 levels of cellar for parking vehicles.....similar to the Lifestyle building!

...and forgot to mention: the prices go thru the roof here too...i prefer to buy my clothes at the factory outlets in trimulgiri.

its the new mall which opened at Punjagutta cross-roads day b4 yes. i happened to go thru tht road after 4,5 days tht evening it was inaugrated, it was hell with the traffic out there.. besides, i was :shock:

to see a huge wall in wht seemed to be the middle-of-the-road

pantaloon ke paileich do showroomaan hai. this i guess is a seperate venture for them.

And I have'nt yet been to the Hyd one but have seen the bangy one and its Huge.It sprawls over 1 lakh sq. ft. area, and has 6 floors. The Seamless Mall (i.e.No walls,only continous shopping area) has specific areas dedicated to women, men, children, infants, food and beverages, home appliances and furnishing, toys, play area for children among others. It houses more than 300 brands across categories, such as apparels, footwear and accessories for women, men, children, infant basics.There is a Musicworld n Cafe on one corner.The mall also has a separate section for services such as Travel, Finance, Investment, Insurance,Cinema Ticket Booking, Bill Payments and other miscellaneous services. It has a Central Square – a dedicated space for product launches, impromptu events, daring displays,shows and exhibitions.

It took me three full days of gazing abt the whole place and nearly turned myself pauper.The rates are sky-high and well outta the reach of an avg. MC Indian. It is frequented mostly by the upper echleons of the society who have pots of money to splurge.

Dunno how the Hyd Central is gonna be but with the addition of PVR it may tuurn out to be the new hangout place for the dudez n galz........

IMO,The Forum at Bangalore is a much more hep n cool place to hang out n shop than Central.True,there are a lot many brands at Central,but Forum too has a mix-n-match of everything.The greatest advantage The Forum has over central,is the space.There is much more space in The Forum to jus' loiter abt than there is at Central.Moreover,the seamless structure is a bit disconcerting for the casual stroller n window-shopper.Also there is Landmark spread across Two Floors which is an absolute Delight for the Book n Entertainment Enthusiast.Moreover,there's KFC,Pizza Hut,Cookie Man,Transit which is a haven for Foodies.The Apple n Bose showrooms are like pure Nirvana for Technology Enthusiasts.

At Bangalore Central,the only place where one can sit n chat is at the Cafe & thatz not Free of cost.But at The Forum,there is ample space to gather n have a cosy chat.

If The Forum promoters decide to build one at Hyd,then I'm sure itz gonna be the Big Daddy of all shopping malls.They have opened one recently at Bhubaneshwar & it sure Roxx...........
