Soft yet supportive, the visco-elastic foam pillow has my endorsement as the Perfect Pillow. The first time you touch it, you know that this pillow is different. It feels as though there is a gel in the material itself. This gel-like quality adjusts and molds to you head and neck contours providing a comfortable and supportive pillow. Visco-elastic foam takes the shape of impressed objects, but quickly returns to its original form even after a 90 percent compression. So the pillow is always perfectly shaped, ready for a tired head.



Visco-elastic foam was developed at NASA's Ames Research Center and is used in the seats of the Space Shuttle to improve seat cushioning, comfort and to provide crash protection. This foam is so technologically advanced that it has been inducted into the U.S. Space Foundation’s Space Technology Hall of Fame.



This foam first found its way into the medical industry where it was used for the treatment of bed sores and sleep disorders. Then, luckily for us, it became available to the general public. Because visco-elastic is highly resistant to bacteria, mold, mildew, mites and odor-causing germs it is perfect for bedding.



Besides the pillow which I have the pleasure of using every night, visco-elastic foam is also available in mattress toppers, folding beds, and specialty pillows, including a lumbar pillow and a bed wedge. At $69.95 ['only' ... ], you will find this pillow a little more expensive than some, but the comfort is worth the price.

The PiLLoW library (``Programming in Logic Languages on the Web'') is a public domain Internet/WWW programming library for Logic Programming Systems which simplifies the process of writing applications for such environment. The library provides facilities for generating HTML or XML structured documents by handling them as Herbrand terms, producing HTML forms, writing form handlers, processing HTML templates, accessing and parsing WWW documents (either HTML or XML), accessing code posted at HTTP addresses, etc.
The PiLLoW library has been developed in the context of the &-Prolog and Ciao systems, but it has been adapted to a number of popular Logic Programming systems. Note, however, that this manual is written for the Ciao system, so if you use it in other systems, minor details in the documentation may not completely agree. For example, whereas in Ciao the library is a package which loads modules html and http, in the other systems it is just one module pillow. Thus, do not consider the Library usage information in other systems.

* A Mother's Experience:

# With my first, I did put her to sleep on a pillow, and I thought my dd's head was a bit lopsided, like terpenyet a bit on the side she slept most. I had to make sure she alternate sides and not sleep with her head tilted to one side only.

# Then I tried having dd#2 sleep on her tummy but I read it wasn't advised. So I put her to sleep on her side, also with a pillow. Same problem with the head. I also bought baby pillows that have a hollowed middle, to minimise the 'flathead' look

## My boys went pillowless and as babies, their heads were as round as a ball. They also weren't fussy and can sleep anywhere, no pillow needed.

Ikea, the consistently quirky campaigner surprised commuters with free pillows demanding "Better Sleep for everyone". Amused commuters could have a kip on the trains in Stockholm thanks to the free pillows that the Ikea-Pajama-Army handed out.

# During morning rush hour the 23rd of September the campaign kicked off. By the platforms for the Arlanda express trains, and the regular commuter trains Ikea greeted sleepy people with their free pillows. In total about 10.000 commuters travel these trains every day.

## A rocking success, as many papers wrote about the stunt, the Commuters were laughing, they loved it. Anything that brings a smile to Peoples faces during a dreary commute has to be a good thing™.
