And walk along the (secunderabad) station-road in busy hours.......if u r new to that area, u will start feeling people (pokiris) are blind on that road. How ever careful u might be, they hit u and walk away.

I agree with this. They do seem "blind". Whatever you do, tiy'll walk into you and hit you.

Tell me bout it!

Its pretty disgusting. People seem to spit on you from any vehicle, and irrespective of the kind of clothing you wear. Makes you feel sick!

About 8 years back, I was walking home(which wasnt very far) on a main road with a friend. A guy on a scooter came at a reasonably good speed and hit me so hard on my shoulder.....

Some training on how not to dress like one? Something like how to get into the psyche of a spittoon and then learn how to not be one?

Disgusting. Cannot really say anything except that it is absolutely shocking. Me too like CAD offer my Apologies on behalf of all good thinking Hydes, although me not a proper Hyde.

My cousin sister used to be frowned upon by her neihbours when she stated moving around on her scooterette :?.

Methinks that someone needs to give these bloody nawabs a sound thrashing and get them to change their 1600s attitude towards women.

i be hoping to get hold of one of them 'spitters' on my next trip to Hyd. I'll make him an ibrat ka zariya for other spitters (If he is smaller AND weaker than me). And Grampy be true to his word.

For driving a scooterette and being self-dependant. How ridiculous and disgustigly irritating! Her husband hasnt a problem, so why do these... *whatevers* interfere?

Driving a car in Hyderabad is a problem itself, what with inconsiderate drivers, autos, pedestrians, and animals. Also suffocating pollution. So far, I havent been involved in any accident. Alhamdulillah. :)

I dont know why any woman would/could ride a scooter. I need a car, for added safety (in case of an accident).....and so that my hair doesnt tousle.

I meant no offence to any ladies who do ride scooters. :) To each, their own.
