I've never been called a bachelor before, i don't consider myself bachelor. anyway my question is, at what age does one become a bachelor? In fact it doesn't even exist, like 'Dark', 'Cold', and 'Soberiety' it defines an absence of something. So ihow have i managed to obtain the absence of something which i never had anyway? have i always been a bachelor, since birth?
and while we're on the topic, Virgin - Absence of something, or presence of something?

When I think of a bachelor, I imagine a stud who is sowing his wild oats. In his mid-20's, with his mom and sister begging him to marry soon.
From birth, youre a newborn...toddler.....kid.....preadolescent.....adolescent/teenager.....young adult......bachelor/bachelorette.........middle-aged..........senior.
I might have missed some in between, but these are the milestones I think.
Virginity can only be the absence of something. The opposite of that is an experienced individual.

yup, that was my line of thought too. except substitute 30's for 20's. most of my friends are late 20's and not married yet.

Yeah, bachelors are definitely in their mid-30's. I was just pointing out what I imagined a bachelor to be.
