Veerappan - A legend or is he a nimmer!

by Smocking Rock » Tue Oct 19, 2004 12:24 pm

Atlast our Government has chased a deadly criminal and killed him, thank god they killed him, if not that wouldn't be an end to the legend...Oh! do u really think he is a legend or just the thief robbing animla skins...or would you call him a murderer...officially he has murdered 120 people. Anyway I would call him a legend bcos he is on the run for his 50+ odd years, though he was treated as the most wanted criminal by our Government. As he is killed now, I would like to burn his "Chitta" on the Sandal wood he has robbed all these days.

Long live Animals (Elephants) and ofcourse people to some extinct.

Murderer first, Robber second.

Animals are important, but they are insignificant in comparision to humans. I really do not think very highly of people who forever cry for animal rights. First make this world good for human beings and pay attention to their rights.

Then when the world is rid of Human-Rights abusers, I will myself join Ms. Gandhi in her fight.

my thots exactly, shall give u hug for that when ur back in town. dun worry, wont crush ya :P

dun ya think we're giving him too much importance? 2-2 threads n all.. he's a legendary criminal, had an almost 4 decade career of crime.. but, dun think his death will have too much of an affect on anything. other than ppl becoming lazy with having nuthin to hunt for eventually leading to an increase in the poachin activities.

I feel the same way. he was a man created by politicians, and not a legend. the politicians used him and when they got bored, just disposed of him. Lets do the same with these threads!

i agree with ur first point but not the second, it could very well be the fear of him opening his mouth n letting the whole world know who was backing him tht lead to his ultimate encounter

Haan. That might be closer to the truth; maybe he was getting to be a nuisance.

what else yaar? there's no way one guy can evade the cops for 4 decades without having some sort of a backing.. political or otherwise. who knows, how many coffers he was funding with the amount of human/animal/forestry he damaged.
