this PDA is nothing new....have seen it at Sanjeevaiya and Indira parks too...abt 5-6 yrs ago  its just that these days its more open and very few are bothered by it.

anyway wats wrong in it? kissing n cuddling in corners of parks etc is better than hiring a room in some shady lodge or a distant resort...

let the couples do wat they want...dont disturb them or pass comments when u come across such 'scenes'

and singles here, u shud try it too....its fun ;)

Didja hear about Dogging in England. The extreme voyeuristic indulgence. I dont know if India will ever get to be this insane but we are well on the way if people support this.

I am not against people having fun.. but not in public places. When I go with my family to such public places I dont expect to see people in weird positions. :x That I have to explain to kids.

Else there should be a park for such people. Anybody interested in PDA can go there and do whatever they like.. just not in places I go to with my family.

I agree with AB. Public parks are a family retreat. Why would one want their children to see that?? Just cuz kids see such scenes on cable tv doesnt mean its ok to see it live too.

AB, elaborate on 'dogging'. Never heard of that before.

Hi Mr Badmash, I never peeped in. Those cool scenes came infront of me accidentally.

You know first of all I saw them in very close proximity to eachother.By seeing me they suddenly got separated. I didnot care much.I went for loo. When I returned from loospot, maybe in distance of around 15 meters I saw them kissing each other.

Beleive me the angle was like that I can see them. But they could not see me.

Please go to the park. Start along the walking track. Stop at the first sign board spot. Go for loo. When you come back from that slightly remote loospot you can clearly see the Park cement benches.

Beleive me it was purely an accidental episode.I never tried to peep in.

PDA is a disease?? Did you just get out of a Talibanised colony? Whats wrong if you want to hold hands or hug your girlfriend/boyfriend in public? As long as you don't go to the extremes like they do in Holland, I think its ok.

Who said anything about holding hands and hugging being bad in public? Thats a bit extreme. And no, I didnt get out of a Talibanised country. What an extremely witty comment youve made.

Kissing and groping would not be too welcome by conservative eyes. And with kids in the park?? What gives? Just because its a public park doesnt make it a place where you can get away with murder.

like it or not, PDA is slowly becoming a regular activity. just try telling the couples in question that its bad......!!!!

instead of repressing everything with rules n threat of punishment, its better to take it laaait! abt kids...well...these days kids are faster than ever....i've spotted innumerable kids PDAing on necklace road and sanjeevaiya park...if they dont see it in a park doesnt mean they wont know abt it or indulge in it...

btw, as Peepie says, these couples dont neck in public...they prefer secluded places normally hidden from view....and if they see anyone coming near them they at once seperate and sit silenty with halos on their head :) so unless a person is purposly on the lookout for such things, its not that easy to spot them....

ignore them n get on with life.....

PDA? this is affection after all, there are worse things happening in the world. does this encompass all displays of affection, i.e. kissing, holding hands, exchanging looks, flirting verbally, being in the same place at the same time, etc?

what about public displays of affections for your kids? or pets? or parents and grandparents? personally if i meet my grandmother in town, i'll hug her, and she'll give me a kiss on the cheek, and she's pretty damn conservative. should we get a hotel room if we want to carry on in this way?

Google on it and you will get enough info. In short... Its people meeting up at predecided places to have sex with random people while others watch them. This is UK phenomenon. There was a program on BBC about it and how people in England are standing up against such people using public parks for their activity. :D

There is a time and a place for everything. I understand kids getting to know about PDA from watching adults. But we are talking about kids not teenagers. Kids ought to be protected and when the time is right they would do it themselves.

We can ignore a lot of things and get on with life but that would mean people would take more and more liberties. Some where the line has to be drawn. Dont get me wrong, I am all for fun and all sorts of kinky stuff.. But there is a time and a place for everything.
