Ok, this is a real easy one but this climax scene was absolutely awesome:

Roy: Well, good for you, Marty. I was going to let it go, you was lookin' so happy just now I was thinkin', mmmm...I-but to tell you the truth, I'm glad you figured it 'cause I have been dying to tell you! Ha! I just didn't know who you'd want to hear it from, Aaron or Roy or Roy or Aaron...well I'll let you in on a little secret. A sort of client-attorney privilege type of secret, y'know what I mean -- it don't matter who you hear it from -- it's the same story! (stutters as Aaron does) I-I'd-I-ju-just had to kill Linda, Mr. Vale, tha-that _ just got what she deserved. But...cuttin' up that son-of-a-bitch Rushman? That was just a _ work of art. Ahaha.
Martin Vale: You are good, you are really good.
Aaron/Roy: Yeah, I did get caught though, didn't I? Mmm.
Vale: So there never w-- there never was a Roy?
Aaron/Roy: Jesus Christ, Marty! If that's what you think I am disappointed in you -- I don't mind telling you. There never was Aaron, Counsellor. (Martin, shocked, begins to stagger away) Come on, Marty! And that whole thing about "Act like a man!" Jessus, I knew exactly what you wanted from me, it was like we was dancing, Marty!
Vale: (leaving the cell) Guard.
Roy: Oh, come on, don't be like that, Marty. We did it, man we _ did it! We're a great team you and me. You think I could have done this without you? You're feelin' a little angry here 'cause you're startin' to feel for ol'Aaron, I can understand that. Y'know , love hurts, Marty, what can I say? Hey! I'm just kiddin', bud, didn't mean to hurt your feelings. What else was I supposed to do? (shouting) Now you're gonna thank me down the road 'cause this is gonna toughen you right up, Martin Vale! Do you hear me? That's a promise!!

^^^ Primal Fear - Ed Norton/Richard Gere

good movie, Ed was darn good

so, finally a break given to the John Travolta praise. as far as QT movies go, Pulp Fiction is definitely his best work.

Jackal - ive heard abt City On Fire n yes, the plot does seem to be similar. but, there's hardly anything u can fault QT on. he doesnt hide the fact that he simply loves those type of movies n his passing references to his favourite movies came to the fore with Kill Bill.

CAD - Jackie Brown better than Pulp Fiction  what made u come to that conclusion?

Marko - wouldnt rate QT movies as to how good they are, but my personal favs will be:

Pulp Fiction

Reservoir Dogs

Kill Bill [1+2]

Jackie Brown

coz i liked the story of R-Dogs and J-Brown better than that of P-Fiction. thats not to say that PF was bad, but enjoyed the other two better...

well, to each their own. Jackie Brown didnt have much of a story, just a bunch of queer characters n their antics. Kinda like PF only PF was much more daring n innovative.

thats pretty much all of them isn't it? whats dust till dawn like? i've heard mixed things about it. I agree its not a useful exercise to rate them with regards to how good they were, i was tryin to figure out which my fav one was. all good though (xcept Jackie Brown for me, that film just didnt hold my attention)

From Dusk Till Dawn is a timepass horror/actioner with George Clooney/QT starring as bros in crime who chance upon a Vampire haunt along with a family they're holding hostage. Directed by Robert Rodriguez who's a frequent partner in crime of QT.

Yeah me too.I am guessing it will be some thing like Where Eagles Dare completely chopped up and presented to us(the usual QT style).Michael Madsen is starring in it and rumor has it that Adam Sandler may star in it. :D

BTW what do you guys think about Guy Ritchi.I find QT's movies better but Snatch was also good.I feel both Snatch and Lock,Stock were similar(The setting and stuff).I heard QT hates Ritchie because Lock,Stock was done in QT's style. :D

hey, since this is turning out to be a rather interesting discussion[finally], y dun u start a new thread for the new generation of movie-makers? let this topic be for what it has been much of this time. Guy Ritchie does have a similarity in terms of the shady/criminal characters that appear in his movies but its a totally different n unique flavour. i loved Snatch n Lock,Stock n Two Smoking Barrels.

Adam Sandler.......it'll be interesting to see wat QT makes him do....

anyway QT usually picks many small-time or out-of-steam actors for his films...lets see how many appear in this (well, Madsen is one too). mebbe he wud resurrect the careers of many has-beens (like he did to Travolta and Uma Thurman in PF, for instance)

Travolta, yes sure. Uma? no. she didnt have a career before Pulp Fiction  but, QT has resurrected quite a few down n out actors like Pam Grier[Jackie Brown], David Carradine/Daryl Hannah[Kill Bill].

p.s: ill start the topic

Uma's only hits were PF and KB.Both by QT.She never had any luck with her other movies.Avengers and Batman and Robin were big flops. And Paycheck was good but many people didnt see that movie because Ben Afflek was in it(you know after J.Lo and Gigli, people didnt want to see him),but overall it was a good movie. :D

OK, :D

These are from the same movie and said by the same person, who and in which movie??

  • Sometimes you've got to specifically go out of your way to get into trouble. It's called fun.

  • Two degrees cooler . . . me without my muff.

  • That guy is as boring as whale sh**

  • Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P. shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T. 'cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could become a M.I.A. and then we'd all be put out on K.P.

  • The weather out there is hot and sh***y, with continued hot and sh***y in the afternoon. Tomorrow a chance of continued crappy weather. A pissy weather front coming down from the north. Basically it's hotter than a snake's ass in a wagon rut.

  • Hey, is it a little too early for being that loud? Hey, too late. It's 0600. What's the "0" stand for? Oh my God it's early!

  • Here a little riddle for you. What's the difference between the army and the cub scouts? Ahhhnnn. Cub scouts don't have heavy artillery.

There were more that I wanted to post but for the sake of not annoying anyone, didn't post!
