I loved the movie.Almost everything in the movie was like a typical Middle Class persons family. You know the "I will shoot Dubey, the bastard" and then shifting from HIndi to English and vice-versa was typical. :D

not just the dialogues man, the story was good, the acting was under-stated, the characters were well-developed, along with the difficulties the families face when a wedding is planned and the struggle with the peronal demons when faced with a crisis, also a side-track dealing with child molestation. Vijay Raaz was totally in character with Dubeyji, the romance track b/w him n the maid could've been clipped tho.

The mill's closed. There's no more work, we're destitute. I've got no option but to sell you all for scientific experiments. No no, that's the way it is my loves... Blame the Catholic church for not letting me wear one of those little rubber things... Oh they've done some wonderful things in their time, they preserved the might and majesty, even the mystery of the Church of Rome, the sanctity of the sacrament and the indivisible oneness of the Trinity, but if they'd let me wear one of the little rubber things on the end of my cock we wouldn't be in the mess we are now. 2. Couldn't Mummy have worn some sort of pessary? 1. Not if we're going to remain members of the fastest growing religion in the world, my boy!

How bout this one?

Unforgiven.I hated this movie,it was boring and dull.It was nothing like the dollars trilogy. Some people like to treate this movie as an ending chapter to Dollars...but I dont see the resemblance here. :D
even i didnt enjoy Unforgiven....too slow, dragging n boring....for me, an ideal western is full of blazing guns n horseback chases :D...this was more like an art film :(

Unforgiven wasn't your run of the mill western with blazing guns, chases et al. But the film had all ingredients of a good movie.

1. Excellent period sets.

2. Strong characters. Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman's characters were simply put, towering.

3. Great dialogues.

4. A great climax. Wouldn't be great if you're looking for the typical western climax lasting 15 minutes with non-stop gunfire but if you look at the way the climax was executed, it was awesome.

And people call it boring?

In the climax,Clint Eastwood walks in the middle of the town, goes in the bar and shoots everyone and tells the survivors that he will kill them if they come in his way. It was just boring.

was going to mention that, it's just in a different league to all his other performances. but that movie will be the high water mark in lots of people's careers (S Jackson will never be better, Travolta definately will never be better, I don't think QT can do any better than that either)

Yup the movie is a work of art.QT is making some new movie called Inglorious Bastards and that movie may be better than Pulp Fiction.Kill Bill was also good but it was more action oriented compared to Pulp Fiction. :D

Saw half of Jakie Brown and resevoir dogs was simply awesome but I still feel that Pulp Fiction was better.Has anyone seen City of Fire staring Chow Yun Fat.Its supposed to be the same story:Undercover cop getting too close to the villain and finally everyone getting shot. Some people are saying that QT just copied that movie and then chopped it into peices. :? :D

My ranking of QT films that i have seen (this was hard since i love all except Jackie Brown)

=1 Pulp Fiction

=1 Reservoir Dogs

2. Kill Bill Vol. 1

3. Kill Bill Vol. 2

4 Jackie Brown

a bit of a cop out putting PF and RD joint 1st, if someone put a gun to my head and said they'd strike down upon me with great vengeance and furious anger unless i chose a favourite then it'd be Pulp Fiction. :)
