but was nt i supposed to be talking about world music? anyway back to the topic, i bought this album ' music from the Andes'. awesome, it has the perfect blend of the peruvian instruments and spanish/local inca or whatever language vocals.

me not too much into folk music from around the globe. but, loved the way Brazilian percussions/folk instruments were fused with metal by Sepultura in their album Roots

i think that instrument is called Berimbau. even though it was a lot different from their thrashy beginnings, it was a good album. its just unfortunate they got stuck in the same loop ever since. :roll:
