They're mostly trying to push quantity. Just look at all the loops and beats repeated in every second song.

Late 80's, he was on his wane. Infact Mohd. Aziz and Shabbir Kumar ruled over the 80s. A really forgotten name here is Anwar - another of the Rafi clones to hit the market in the late 70s.

But....aren't we discussing female singers here?

I feel there is some good talent among the current crop too...but yes...the lot to whom celebrity matters more...may not fall exactly under the talented class.

Being a music fan, I've always kept in touch in some or the other way with contemporary music at all stages of my life. It gives you a lot of insight into how music is progressing.

And, yes, BS (Britney Spears or Bull****, whatever you may choose to call her) does indeed have a fine ass, not to mention certain other fine assets though singing is not one of them.
