na, its not true.
red bull stimulates the body, cos of caffine and guarana, where as for some people alcohol tires them while dancing and puts them to sleep.
a mix of redbull and alcohol keeps them up all night long, not that they get any special effects cos of the mix. its a common drink while u are out clubbing, not wen u are in a social drinking meet.


uh huh, its so true!

you can check out the story released in yahoo news about 2 days ago. a scientific study in brazil proved it. its that myth and your thinking that it stimulates your drink that keeps you going...i will agree that its a common drink while one is clubbing, but i dont drink red bull because it tastes bad...yuck!

Thats a common misconception malakpetmasala....that hash is a concentrated form of weed.



Weed is obviously the leaves whereas hash is made from some kind of sap emanating from the stem of the plant.

anyway about the myth/facts about red bull&vodka, i am not really sure, but from a neuroscientist's/chronic alcoholic point of view, i know what red bull does to ur brain and what vodka does.

but yeah, even i would nt prefer drinking them both together.

just read the article, it says that the mix would not give any speial effects, as i mentioned too, but they dont rule out the point that caffine and highly concentrated sugars in the drinks boost ur energy independent of the alcohol. and while ur energy is on a boost, u consume aclohol to get the the desired effect.

its not like there is a synergy between the two, but more like two independent actions, the effect of which is felt.

and also, its a very common practice to have a double shot of black coffee before clubbing or before taking ekkies. its the same effect.

both have the same active compound THC (tetrahydro cannabinol)

this is the resin that u find in both the leaves and the stem sap.

the main reason u dont smoke really young leaves is that they dont have high amounts of THC in them.
