Marriage register

Hi,



Can anyone please let me know, how to resister a marriage. I got married in June 2004.

Dude its been almost 4 months,I dont know about the procedure and rules but isnt that a long time.....? :? :)

Go to the Regixtrar of Marraiges, on M J Road, Near Karachi Bakery and find out the procedure from there.

if u r married in a religious ceremony, go to the registrar's office of your locality and apply there and take some wedding photos with you as proof. the registration certificate will be given to u in a day a day or two. the fee in nominal and as its a govt. office some bribes wud be expected :)



since yr marriage happened abt 4 months ago, some registrars might ask for one month notice period (same is case if u eloped), but in yr case if u married in a social ceremony, this might not be insisted upon (the wedding photos and if possible a copy of the invitation card wud help here).
