Yea mee too, Have stayed in Bangalore, Trichy, Madras and Hyderabad.

So have picked up parts of Tamil, Telugu and Kanada. But cannot speak any of them fleuntly.



Though one good thing about Teluguites is they are accomdating and understanding (probably due to the influence of Urdu).



Go to any other south indian state and you here statements such as, "what you been in karnataka for x yrs and you still cannot speak Kannada."



And in Tamil Nadu its a bit more rigid, the moment you land in Chennai, ppl make your life impossible, Even officials at the airport refuse to speak in any language except Tamil.



We have even tried and tested this at many places in chennai, when it comes to providing services or giving something chennaties will not understand any language. Whe it comes to taking Money , services etc, they will speak any language.



Any way stayed in Andhra for 15 yrs on and off and still cannot speak telugu, would be a good idea to learn it though, some facts.

Spoken In : Andhra Pradesh and neighboring states. Also spoken in Bahrain, Fiji, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, UAE, USA, Australia (All these countries have sizeable Telugu population).

English Word : see

Translation : chuuDu



Telugu ka bukhaar chadte hi kai try karne niklinge...dekhke, hindi bolte bolte beech me telgu ka word kabhi try mat karna.

English - Telgu = Enlgu

Hindi - Telgu = Hilgu

Ka dekh kar prayoog kijiye.
