Helmets to be compulsory from Nov 3:

Another reason for the Cops to get richer.

1. Helmets shall be of the sizes having circumference of inside head band of 520, 530,540, 550, 560, 570, 580, 590, 600mm. A tolerance of plus or minus 3mm for the size of the helmet shall be permitted

2. Helmets shall be of two types:

a) V-type having provision for ventilation. b) NV Type which provides direct contact of head with protective padding.

3. The helmets should have a shell, draw-lace, cradle, protective padding, corrugated padding, head band, extended portion of shell.

4. The workmanship finish should be good. All edges should be smooth and rounded.

5. The helmet should of specified color preferably white or cream.

6. Mass of complete helmet should not exceed 800 grams.

Yeh sub nahi raha to 20 Rs de do .............

Above are the requirments for the helmets. If your helmet misses out, 150 fine ya 20 thola ko.

Now middle of the road who is the best judge if your helmet meets the requirments ???
