A Rated and filthy songs

by Sharjeel » Fri Aug 27, 2004 2:44 pm

Hey!

Enlist 5 songs you hear regularly, which are filthy, full of swear words, etc. The only condition is that they should be mainstream, and not something like punk rock, or similar which very few people listen to.

1. Eminem: The real slim shady

2. Puff Daddy: Come with Me

3. Metallica: So What (ROCKS!)

4. Paproach: Last Resort

5. The Offsring: Why don't you get a job (A Personal Fave)

Personally I can't stand songs with filthy lyrics... It's not that I have a problem with bad language, just that I find this to be a really cheap way to attract listeners...

I'm heavily into Jazz.

I guess so.

Don't listen to them a lot myself, only when no ones around, and/or to embarass a particular shy friend ;-).

Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

You mention that they are'nt really filthy by any standard, yes, because if they were so, they would have been boycotted by V and MTV.

Thats true... :D But it is funny as hell.

Do you remember the episode where the make fun of the Prez Bush and then also the one with Osama-Bin-laden! It was funny as hell.

If you get the hidden message the episodes have political and/or social agendas at the core. Thats why I like Southpark!

exactly, its much more than a profanity-excess tht ppl believe it to be. wouldnt call it a spoof, its akin to a satirical take on America n its various inanities on so many perspectives. most importantly, it DOES make sense!
