back to the point, I really am from Poland-I live by the Baltic Sea in Gdańsk- Wałęsa was born here and "Solidarność" started.

I study sociology and Russian philology at the university. This year I am going to write my thesis. I am 23 y old and I work for the Amnesty International. A few months ago I found out about the possibility of going to Your country and work for the NGO called Anuraag(have You heard something about it?) . I thought: Why not? and after a long process of rucruitment I can finally plan my trip.

That's my short story.

History shows people who visit this place and live for considerable time, tend to have strong bonds to this city.



We can boast that Hyderabadi community is



- the most compassionate.

- You will be starled at the help and assistace provided to you.

- You meet anyone around they gel with you as if you have known with them from childhood.



Cautious :



- When someone relates to parsoon (the day before yesterday), it could be any period from 1950 to actually 22-08-04.

- When someone tells you wait I will be there in a jiffy (abbi aaro), get along with your work as it could be, really in a minute or the next day.

- Do not get too freindly with any male around, they mistake it for love and may even start stalking you.



Its a happy go lucky city. You will enjoy your trip rest assured. We can also boast about being the cleanest city in India (appart from air pollution).

Undoubtedly people are very friendly; and you will not have any problems here.



Here are a few cautions from a Hyderabadi n00b:



1. Beggars: Too many of them in Hyd (But I guess u SS peeps would dig that)



2. Hyd peeps love Non-veg food a lot, and they party a lot. If you dont watch it, u will become fat in no time.



3. Fibbers and friendly people: The prob with most Hyds is that they will want to know vrything about me, while I just want them to die and let me read my book in peace.



And then they talk a lot, and not all they talk is true. Lambi Lambi chhodte hain.
