cldnt believe india lost to australia y'day....that to after playing so well :evil:

aur pata nahi lee and hesh ko kya hua...itti buri taraf haar gaye...hope they win the bronze at least

did u watch the match? if u had u wldnt have said wht u said abt india. the umpires were clearly biased toward the aussies. and in the last five minutes we were with only 10 players. pillay was penalised for some thing which the aussies got away with 3-4 times.

the way the indians equalised to make it 3-3 was terrific.

not having a player does make a difference.. esp when its dhanraj pillai. anyhow... to be fair we were done in by the referee... biased $(*)#@%(*)(#

goddamnit Lee n Hesh lost the bronze last nite.. was watchin their match till it got over arnd 4AM! fought diligently till 14-14 in the final set but.. alas..

looks like india always comes back with a solitary medal. it was bronze in '96 and 2000, now its silver. we're improving!!!

our hockey team was mismanaged this time, otherwise we had a good chance...

She tripped during Javelin throw and sprained her Knee and the greek doctors ruled her out of the event (heptathlon). They said she cant walk for one week, but she came back to finish the final event, 800 meters run, and finished it in thrid position with a sprained knee!!!

Btw, she is a hyderabadi
