I am so scared, what about you guys???

I am sure most of you must've read this. What do you think about it? Maybe our married brothers can enlighten us.

Indian men, it’s time to panic. In the next 10 years, one out of every five men will be partially or completely impotent. That is what the participants of the seminar Impotency and Childless Couples organised by the Physiological Society of India held at the King George’s Hospital, Lucknow concluded.

A variety of factors including work-related tensions, domestic pressures and unhealthy lifestyles are the main reasons behind men going infertile. Another common problem was the body-hugging jeans and synthetic undergarments that made matters worse. Another problem, of recent origin, is the usage of cell phones which can result in erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.

Men’s sexual peak usually occurs around the age of 18. After that it’s a downhill process for most of them. Much as they wouldn’t like it, aging has much to do with the decline of male sexual performance. Some even feel the effect as early as in their late 20s. Being unable to achiever firm erections, increase in time needed to achieve full erections, lower sex drive, a drop in stamina, weaker ejaculation, and a decrease in sensation are the common problems that they confront as they grow older.

what i've always said....esp, the unhealthy lfestyle part...the best precaution we can take is to exercise regularly and eat sensibly. all this talk of "exercise is not for me" and "i cant give up good food" will 100% result in infertility or at worst, impotence.

CAD's quip about exercising reminded me of the US. 3/4th of the US is overweight and 50% is grossly overweight. I think it also has a lot to do with their sedentary lifestyle and junk-food habits.

Anyway, why did I mention it here? Because I was too lazy to start a new thread!

I believe there was a recent study which proved that obesity cud b a virally transferred disease. The virus is known as AD36 (i think, dont remember it too clearly) The virus makes the adipose(fat) tissues in the body grow and hence results in obesity....

Yes, there is sucha virus and it is believed about 12 million Americans are infected with it. But, that still does not account for the 180 million that are overweight, does it?

righto, but it is believed that the virus has crossed the Atlantic and is also prevalent in UK. At this rate, it is feared that the virus may also spread into Asia and Africa in the span of two to three years

Here, let me dispell your fears.

A lot of diseases that are prevalent in the developed worlds do not exist in the developing ones. The reason is that the people are more resistant to diseases in our parts of the world. The same pathogens are quite harmless in developing countries. So, I do not think that the fat virus would do us any harm.

CAD, we are resistant only to certain viruses and not each and every one that decides to attack our country or else there would never be the need of a hospital

The AIDS virus moreover is an especially complex one. It contains an enzyme called "reverse transcriptase"(or sumthin lik tht) which continously changes the configuration of the virus and hence it is next to impossible to come up with a vaccine for such a virus. (The SARS virus is another example of such a virus)

The AIDS virus attacks the immune system first, hence the AIDS virus isn't the actual reason of the death of a person it is the viruses that attack the body after the immune system had been destroyed that actually harm the person. In such circumstances even the "common cold" can turn out to be very harmful

Exercise is not for me.

I live to eat....not eat to live.

Last time I changed identities, I had seven paternity suits filed against me.

Add these to the reasons to go impotent.

- Cycling

- Wearing tight underwear

- Jogging/Weightlifting without supporters. (This will also give you HERNIA).

- Getting hit in the nuts by a cricket ball.

A research has found that cycling for long duration cuts out the blood supply to the flag pole and hence it has chances of going limp for ever. Strange but true.
