yes...the same L.V.Prasad group. they are mainly into films/entertainment and the hospital is one of their philanthropic ventures.azazel wrote:ye L.V. Prasad eye hospital ke baare me sunaa tha.. Prasads is also owned by the same ppl kya![]()
have u seen the prices of multiplexes in other cities? Prasads is way cheaper than them. luxury does not come cheap. multiplexes are not supposed to have more than one class, so a different ticket price for front rows is out of question.azazel wrote:..my only problem with them is the pricing of the tickets. The rows infront should be priced a lil' lower

I saw Hyderabad Blues 2 sitting in the front row corner seat.. trust me, it wasnt worth it..CtrlAltDel wrote:multiplexes are not supposed to have more than one class, so a different ticket price for front rows is out of question.

the basic funda behind multiplexes is to rake in the moolah....there will b more of these in the future....azazel wrote:CtrlAltDel wrote:but duniya bhar, multiplexes mein wohi problem hai....

partly true...distributors take cinemas on rent to screen films and the ticket collection goes to distributor after deducting tax and small user charges for the hall.azazel wrote:heard the screens are rented out, so even if a movie is not running well, they get their dough

i beg to differ...neo-rich have money coz they have the brains for it. neo-rich do not inherit wealth, they earn it.Lucifer wrote: the people thronging it are the neo-rich - all money and no brains

60/- is not expensive yaar considering the luxurious surroundings and the beautiful chicks around u....the next most expensive is HiTech with 50/- i think and even that has a great ambience (but sadly a lousy choice of movies...)akhilis2cool wrote:lekin these guys have so many other things to earn from.....the ppl haing there shops and restaurants in there pay a hefty rent to them....why charge so much for a movie???
