She burned the Rice AGAIN!

by SimarikSmokin » Wed Jul 28, 2004 7:16 am

Ok this one is for both males and females:

How many would prefer a Husband doing the cooking and cleaning?

And how many prefer the stay-at-home-wifes? then having a career?

And how many prefer a good traditonal wife? like wearing saris etc, cooking a good indian meal well the top one is the same except its different

Ok i would prefer both me and my husband to do equal work, like cooking and cleaning i actually think its adorably romantic when the husband cooks for the wife. I mean when i have kids i hope he doesn't think he is exempt from taking care of it or helping me with it. Also i want a husband would is caring and calling me at time and and also be able to cry in front of me i think its the most beautiful thing seeing a man cry, it depresses me and it just is beautiful after bringing a kid in this world.

So what do you prefer?

Okay, first off, I dont think "kids" are "its" lolol

And I sort-of agree with everything you said.

Except that I wouldnt want my husband doing half the cooking and cleaning (and usual "sample" wifes work) I'd want him to help out ever now and then with dishes, vacuuming, etc. but I sitll want most of the work, because to me, doing those things makes me feel like a true women, and I guess a wife too. But I also want to have a real career on the side. Just nothing full time since theres house work to be done and kids to take care of.

But like you said, I want a cute husband that isnt afraid to cry in front of me, expecially after bringing a child into the world. And I want him to call me from his work when he has time, or to make time for me. And it would also be nice if he called me even if I was at work. It would make my day better.

Those are great qualities. and hey, your husband might not even care about having a traditional indian wife wearing a sari

no preferences in any way, joru ki marzi.. depends on wht she wants to do, but would like her to maintain a grip on domestic angle too..

And how many prefer a good traditonal wife? like wearing saris etc, cooking a good indian meal well the top one is the same except its different

its Ok either way, cooking to zaroori hai.. me cant cook to save my life! wearing sarees is preferable, too much westernization se apni tabiyat kharaab hoti hai..

like i said, work is her prerogative. 'cooking' to nahee aati, seekhna padega, never knw kab kaam aayega  me loves kids, itne bhanja/i 's ka maamu hona mazaak ki baat nahee hai  crying? vaise mai rota nahee magar kabhi kabhi its very relieving.. 8)

well....i love to cook and occassionally do it too....so no probs there...

i am not good in cleaning, so my wife is happy doing it herself

i dont like the image of the "traditional wife". i think its boring and guaranteed to leave the couple bored of each other in a few yrs. i dont like to see my wife in just sarees, except on some occassions. in fact what she wears is her choice and i leave it to her entirely.

at home i help her in caring for my son...i even change his nappies...:D

abt Crying...i have never done it...so i dunno if i can....but i dont think it makes any difference in my outlook
wtf? i no longer care if my posts hurt yr feelings

So you are back.. Hehehe.. All the drama. Anyway Welcome back(I maybe late in writing this, so dont get on my case).. whatever made you change your mind SS... maybe its all the "shayeri"!
SimarikSmokin wrote:How many would prefer a Husband doing the cooking and cleaning?
Husband cooking or the wife cooking doesnot matter; the darn KIDS have to be fed! Taking truns is a good option.
SimarikSmokin wrote:And how many prefer the stay-at-home-wifes? then having a career?
Please... Women shouldnt stay at home. They become like ZC  then they start speculating. But its her choice! I beleive women should retain the capability to earn moolah for house. What If the man of the house decides to take a break, the women can take over and do the earning bit.
SimarikSmokin wrote:And how many prefer a good traditonal wife? like wearing saris etc, cooking a good indian meal well the top one is the same except its different
Saree's kick ass. :D I mean they make a woman look sensational, awesome, sexy.. and everything a man can ever imagine. A mother, a wife and a Woman. But a dress should be worn acording to the occasion, you cant wear a saree to a disco and the same way you cant wear a mini-skirt to a Shaadi.

Cant make out what you mean here. Anyway, should a man cry only after the baby comes into this world, or should he cry even before that. Can a man cry by himself, like I do, when A81 doesnt talk to me... (Heheheheh ). Taking into consideration everything you have written; looks like you want to marry a GIRL. Do you ?
