it is truly a symbol for masons ... but as they say masons borrowed the concept fom Illuminati .. where it is referred as the Shining Delta ... what is interesting is now any such thing is associated with the Anti-Christ - though it started with just being protectors of science & reason in the times of Galileo :shock:

Masonic symbols are said to visible in lot of American Architecture as CAD pointed out .. wht is amazing is tht Denver airport is said to have some of the most obvious references ... & yet i never happened to notice it... next time perhaps !!!

speaking of secret societies ... has neone heard of skull and cross bones? it's something like a frat in one of the ivy league schools f'got which one. but it has really wierd rituals like digging up graves for skulls and both the bushes and a lot more influential ppl in american government were members of it.

Yes I have heard of it.. did you know, both John Kerry and Prez Bush were members of it. John Kerry is running for Prez in Nov elections.

All the secret Socities are formed to sustain or support a cause in which all the members believe .. as Illuminati was into bringing a New World Order, or Priory Of Sion into continuing the legacy of Jesus etc. So wht is the Cause for existence of Skull & Cross Bones except for digging up graves

As it was suggested earlier, it is because India has always been a very open country. Most of such acts in India were carried out with public knowlegde (as the judiciary is very slow n meticulous :roll:

Anyway coming to the highlighted part, why would u want to taint the reputation of such a beautiful country with all its great heritage by removing links to such uncouth roots?? :?:
