How many people did do illegal drugs? or Smoke? Cigs? as it is i hate smokers, and go to Strip Clubs? ( or Beer Bar Girls Place as indians would call it.)
I mean why would people spend money on trash? like those diseased people? eww. Please don't tell me they have to do it for money, if they want money they could go to school get a better paying jobs.

On topic, I dont do drugs or smoke. I dont go to strip clubs or bars. I do, however, go to clubs to dance and chill with friends. Nothing bad about that, cuz I dont do anything illegal.

I've boozed, smoked, doped (weed only) but never done things that I thought would disrespect women. The Dance Bars are a major disrespect.

I call them trash because they are selling themselves like that, one thing i was sooo disappointed in and i hate that and i am not trying to cause a relgion clash here, but in Chandini Bar, tabu a muslim becomes a beer bad girl which i hated, i hate it when they portray a muslim as a terrorist or a bad person or a PIMP. But my point is that women who don't respect themselves like i do to me are Trashy Women, who wear revealing clothes, or just being plain Slutty.

I've smoked (still do), did dope (weed, and I still do), haven't been to strip clubs. Have been to a dance bar a couple of times. (SS....we have a clear demarcation between Dance bars - where women dance and strip clubs - where women strip and we don't have many of them in India).
None of the things I did were illegal. And I don't find them to be trash in my opinion. I make sure that I'm taking care of all my other priorities before spending money on any of these. With the exception of smoking cigarettes, they're all things I'm not habituated to.
Its very easy for you to say that if ppl want jobs, they can do a job that pays them better. 90% of the women in trades like prostitution, stripping etc. do it because they are forced into it by circumstances. Nobody wants a life of disrespect.
And if you didn't want to start a clash of religions, there was no reason for you to use the word "MUSLIM" in your last post. What is resentful was that even in today's civilised world, we have people who have to resort to such means to earn. Not how they are portrayed in movies. The filmmaker just mirrored certain things that are happening in the society. Would you have been okay with it had Tabu been a non-muslim in the movie?

no, no, no, if i was to join a strip club it would be my decision not because i am being forced to, in india maybe but here they do it because they can't go to school because they are too lazy to get an education so they take a free ride. and also because they get 500 dollars for just stripping naked. I dont think women become prostitutes by choice. Its sheer desperation and the lack of something better that leads women into the oldest profession in the world.
Its easy to think that a lady can get an education and reach for the stars. But in the real world, its a lot harder than that. Especially in India.
In America, prostitutes are owned by their pimps. Its a lot harder for them to get out of what they got themselves into. Plus, theyre usually heavily into drugs and drink, so its harder for them to get back into the real world where you work a decent job and get a check at the end of the month. Then college isnt cheap either.
Strippers are usually college student, strutting their stuff to earn money to pay for their college tuition.

ur basing ur whole view on the prostitutes/prostitution just by watching a documentary?i dont think its that high a figure that was mentioned there, 98% of them being runaways n addicts.. ppl get into it mostly through sheer desperation to make ends meet, n certainly not many will enjoy it!

I cant stand cigs, weed doesn't do anything for me, I like having a few drinks with some friends, and the only "illegal" drugs i've tried (apart from weed) are legal in this country anyway (as opposed to the US where they are still illegal). And since i grow them myself it doesnt cost me money (just time)
