its a sci-fi for gods sake...it need not be believeable. the concept behind it is the hot topic these days tho...Nan wrote:About timeline, the science behind it was too contrived for it to be believable.

not me tho. his novels are laborious as u said. the onely novel of his that left an impact on me was Time To Kill (again, the movie was not as good). Painted House put me off totally...Nan wrote:As an attempt to get back to it, my favourite author of the thriller genre is Grisham.
i like to read a book at any time...tho this DB is taking up a lot of time these daysWhat is your ideal way to read a book? Mine is curling up in the bed, when it is raining outside.

Nan wrote:"More plausible " is not equal " Possible". He need not have made it look possible. But he could have done a better job at it!! Anyway it was just a personal opinion, forget it rainmaker.. :)
my favourite author of the thriller genre is Grisham. Rainmaker was the first Grisham I read. It WAS a laborious read! I absolutely loved "Partner" and "Pelican Brief".
