FULLHYD MEET (?)

18th as the date is accepted. And since we do have a couple of days more to procrastinate on the venue, I decided to give another couple of options.

1. How about the botanical gardens at madhapur? we can make this a half day picnic and have fun instead of planning to meet at 6, meeting up at 6:45 and breaking off by 7:45.

2. If this has to be an evening meeting, lets plan for a movie at prasad's. It'll be different.

3. How about a drive to a dhaba at Medchal and dinner thereafter? We can assemble at some place and this will solve the problem of transport for those who cannot manage.

HP saar, the most imp. thing abt this whole meet is the time, n how much everyone can sneak outta their schedules for it.. so, while ur suggestions sound awesome esp. 1 n 3.. not practical enuff, esp. for muah.. can spare only a coupla hours or a lil' more for the meet.. but thats just me..

movie @ Prasads is a good option but then, meet karne ka matlab hi nahee hoga.. just watch the movie n run off..

for me, its back to square one.. Eat Street is a good option but then, sabko fit karna thoda sa mushkil hai.. i can live wth that.. plus, its a sunday, u can imagine the crowd :shock:

half of Hyd. will be there...

Coffee shops may be small n stuffy but, a decent conversation can be managed without too much hassle.. its convinient to get to n fits a good no. of people.. the options u gave will fit a car-full of ppl only IMHO :roll:

Az is right abt Eat Street: sundays are packed with families....and abt Prasads....well....if ppl cant spare much time that day its a waste just watching a movie while we can as well yak to our hearts content.

the Picnic is a great idea, if all of us can make time for it. after all its sunday...it shudnt be difficult...think abt it Az.

if not coffee shop how abt meeting for dinner at some dhabha as suggested by HP? or if not a dhabha any restaurant that wont mind noisy crowd wud do

Or we could meet up and drive out to Aalankrita and chill out for a while. That way, it'll feel like a picnic without the hasles of having to lug our own food and (ahem) beverages around. Plus, it's an amazing drive/ride down to Shamirpet and Ayesha's dying for some exercise...

mmm... very tempting but think abt how many ppl can make it :roll:

.. U, HP n CAD r the only ones who've agreed for it.. for me, on a Sunday, its difficult to take out too much time esp. for the ride/drive/picnic that seems to be the order for the day.. phir be. set a definite time n place.. ill try to make it.. but if the junta is not agreeing for this.. then plz guys stick to the CCD plan.. HH saar.. aap bhi..

well....we have met twice before...search the DB for the relevant threads about those meets.

we plan a third meet on 17th or 18th....u can join us too! no need for a formal invitation...just show up at the venue.

I'm for the meet. I've given my preferences. But I'm okay with anything that the majority opts for. But if the majority calls me to CCD and the meet turns out to be even a moist squib, the defaulters are gonna face my wrath bigtime.
