I dont think Indian women need to catch up on anything anymore. In the past 5-6 years, the women in India have gone through a metamophosis- in which they have proven that they are just as independent, individualistic, open-minded and intelligent as women in any other country.

Not only do Indian women possess the aforementioned traits, but they are also traditional, religious and moralistic. Tell me where a man would ever find women with all of these characteristics?
Is that a pistol in your pocket, or are you pleased to meet me?

Marriage is a very honorable institution that not only requires fidelity, but mutual understanding , commitment, and compromise.

If a woman says, "I'll ask my hubby n tell you", thats a good thing. It doesnt mean hes the dominant one who calls the shots. It means that she wont do anything until they both agree on it. The same should go for the husbands. And in America, Ive seen that. Men dont want to do much until they get their wives say in it.

Permission to work? Well, I wouldnt say 'permission'. See, if the wife lives a joint family with kids running around, and elderly folk who need tending to a lot---Then the woman should think about whether she could handle a job and housework together. And juggling the two can be virtually impossible. So unless she has the cooperation of the other wives in the joint family, she shouldnt venture into the job-world.

If the couple live together, with one or two children in tow---then she can surely still work. As long as theres a nanny or reliable servant who can take care of the kids while shes putting in her 9 to 5. But a mothers first job is to be a mother, that my opinion. If she wants and her husband agrees to it, then an outside job can be successful.

I know that inspite of being in Paris, you're still having dinner all alone and the only accompaniment you must have had for a visit to the Eiffel Tower must have been your tour guide.

And I'm also sure that you'd like to have a wife who would be more than ready for me whenever I can make some time for her from my busy schedule.

Finally, if you're not really satisfied with your current tour guide, someone told me that Raj is in Paris nowadays.
