no magic dude....any number you choose u end up with one of these numbers wen u do all that he asks u to

81,72,63,54,45,36,27,18,9...

all the symbols for these above numbers are same!!

it is pretty simple. The guy just made use of some smart math.

10 = 1+0 = 1, now 10 - 1 = 9

11 = 1+1 = 2, now 11 - 2 = 9

12 = 1+2 = 3, now 12 - 3 = 9

13 = 1+3 = 4, now 13 - 4 = 9 and so on and so forth

now in the 20s

20 = 2+0 = 2, now 20 - 2 = 18

21 = 2+1 = 3, now 21 - 3 = 18

22 = 2+2 = 4, now 22 - 4 = 18 and so on and so forth

now in the 30s

30 = 3+0 = 3, now 30 - 3 = 27

31 = 3+1 = 4, now 31 - 4 = 27

32 = 3+2 = 5, now 32 - 5 = 27 and so on and so forth

now in 40s

40 = 4+0 = 4, now 40 - 4 = 36

41 = 4+1 = 5, now 41 - 5 = 36

42 = 4+2 = 6, now 42 - 6 = 36 and so on and so forth

Therefore if u get my flow, only the multiples of 9 have to be the same symbol and wallah u got a mind reader......

I must say, very innovative idea!!

Yeah, thats visible, but see that when u try it with imagining only one number consistently even then its giving right answer!! This is the depist logic there budy. Imagin the same no. constantly and its shows the right answere third time!!!

The "magic" reminds me of a childhood trick we used to do...It was an extension of the same trick. We'd ask the other person to add both digits of the difference (the number for which you look up the symbol in the chart); subtract 5 from the difference; think of the corresponding alphabet for that number (1=A, 2=B, 3=C and so on); think fo a country starting with that letter; and think fo an animal starting with the second letter of the country.

Finally, you ask him....did you think of an elephant from Denmark?
