Welcome to the board 
Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

Looks like I'll be the first n00b, here. Okay, let's see... where should I start? All right, here goes... but wait, what details must I include in my introductory post? The post that will emphasize the fact that first impressioins are the best impression? Too much pressure.
Is there a standard format or something? Do you want to know what profession I am into, or would you like to know how old I am? Maybe, what species I am might be a more basic question. Anyway, this is what I think I'd like to say about myself...
Hey, wait a minute, are you guys trust-worthy? If I disclose my ultra-personal details like false-profession, false-age and ear-wax taste, how will I know you wouldn't hold all that info and take advantage of it, later?
Like you might kill an endangered species and frame me for doing it. I mean not for 'doing it', but killing it. But I guess nobody would be worried if Bush gets killed, so I'll get on with the intro. Finally!
I'm a 14-year-old boy in dire need of a math teacher. Make sure you don't have giant jugs before you apply for the job. <---------- Er, that was my neighbor. He heard that I got a new comp, and he came in to add few lines of his. The kid'll feel bad if I erase his classified so we'll all play along, okay?
Now, finally, for the final time, MY introduction - my handle is Vulcan. Short and sweet, huh?
