MM's plans about Matrix inspired this one. If you had to remake an English movie into an Indian language,

1. Which English movie would you choose?

2. What would be the name of the remake?

3. Who would be the lead cast?

I'll settle in for Pirates of the Carribean as the English original, the name would be Ramgarh ke samudri daaku and the cast....

Elizabeth Swann - Rani Mukherji

Will Turner - Saif Ali Khan

Barbosa - Amrish Puri

Remake a movie from the Indian language into english.

My choice would be Andaaz Apna Apna. The name...well..Dumb and Dumber was taken...so I'll settle in for...Twin Trouble.

Cast :

Amar : Brendan Fraser

Prem : Adam Sandler

Karishma : Anybody, preferably Drew Barrymore

Raveena : Anybody, preferably Catherine Zeta-Jones Douglas (Lucky bas***d Michael)

Bajaj/Teja : Jack Nicholson

I'd love to remake ENTRAPMENT in Hindi.

Title: JAAL....but i think thats taken

Sean Connery: Big B (who else?

)

C.Zeta Jones: Sushmita Sen (looks mature n beautiful..no bimbo)

Ving Rhames: Jackie Shroff (perfect for the part...looks good in shades too)

...and the heist can be planned around Nizam's Jewelry in Hydbad!

I'd also love to do an epic in the lines of Gladiator or Troy. potential stories: Porus n Alexander, Prithviraj Chouhan, Raja Raja Chola (India's first extensive blue-water Navy). Ashoka's story is great but SRK took it n spoilt it beyond recognition :evil:

Andaz apna apana is a lift from a english flick already ... i don't think it's a good idea to remake it again into hollywood hehe it will be like what our ppl do... first a movie is done in tamil then they dub the move into telugu then they make that movie in hindi then again it's reamde in telugu hehe best example (BETA/ABBYAGARU)

And splash has already been remade or should i say freemade in telugu with... venkatash and shilpashetty :lol:

As i mentioned before i want to reamke "Chanikyudi spadam" old telugu folk fare into english it got so many twists and turnssssss in it.. whav! .......

My absolute favorite hollywood movie is 'Face/Off'. But the thought of handing it over to bollywood directors so they can screw it up is a bit chilly, so I would direct it :wink:

I dont know off hand who I would cast, therefore I would hire a topnotch casting director

but saif ali khan will guarantee that its a hit, he'll add a whole new dimension to what keanu reeves did in the original.

bawling one's eyes out in senti scenes is a big no no for some of these actresses for which they have the natural tendancy.
