I was just concerned about the hate that was so obvious from your post. AS I said earlier, hate should be handled with care.

Hate is a strong word i know, but if you have'nt noticed but homos have been taking over the news, media, fashion industry- which by the way was there aaaa long time ago.

But it gives people more oppurtunities to be openly gay which is just not my topic to talk about. i just don't accept gay people Sorry

I agree being GAY is Unnatural. I understand how you feel.

But hate is a strong word. Dont be absolute on anything; You never know when it will change. By saying you hate them you are making things black or White. It doesnt work like that in the world. You dont know and understand enough things in this world to make opinions about someone or their choices.

IMO; You dont hate them you just dont agree with their way of life. You think it is against the natures way would like to see these people burn in HELL. I am with you... Lets burn them all! Yeah... :twisted:

( I just want to see what color GAY give off when they burn; since they are so colorful and fruity inside. )

abt gays: i posted this a few months ago in another thread and now i am posting an abridged version of it (esp read the last part):

it is an ambarrassing sight...but in India, even straight couples rarely display affection in public, so there is no question of homosexual couples doing so.

I would be shocked and stunned if any of the above scenarios (gay relatives) come true. but i would not hate or condemn someone just coz i dont approve what they are doing. Maybe after certain time I'll get used to them and tolerate them. I have nothing against gays as long as they dont make a move on me.

I'll use a similar analogy - I come from a vegetarian brahmin family, but i enjoy the occassional carnivore delights. My parents have the same feeling of abhorance for meat, as you have for gays. they do not like the fact that i enjoy meat occassionally. they advice me not to eat it...but to no avail! yet they do not hate me or avoid me or throw me out of the house.

This is called tolerance and this is what we have to display towards people who are different from us- either in religion or caste or clor or sexuality. It would take time before such tolerant attitude permeates a conservative society like india. We tolerate love marriages now, surely a day will come when we tolerate gays too.

this discussion is not about feeling wonderful about anything. its about letting intelligent adults make their own decisions in life.

the only reason people find homosexuality odd is coz majority (atleast i hope so!) do not practise it.

being gay is just biology - once apon a time even left-handedness was regarded as a "mark of the devil" and unnatural.

nobody turns gay for attention. this is something which is better to be kept under wraps, given the intolerant society they live in.

neither do people turn gay coz they are "bored" of being straight (i hate the word "normal" here). people are either homosexual, heterosexual or bisexual. it cannot be forced on anybody except in rare cases like peole driven to it in frustration when there is lack of partners of opposite sex. but in such cases there is a likely hood of re-orienting themselves once the cause for frustration is removed.

natural homosexuality exists in animals too.

Off-topic, but Gandhi? Terrorist? He was as much of a terrorist as Coca-Cola is. People drink Coca-Cola because they like it. People followed Gandhi because they liked his principles. He did not hold a gun to anyone's head. He did not use money power or brute force to either reach the stature he acquired, or retain it, or misuse it.

I am not in general against people making dramatic sweeping black-or-white statements, but there should be at least some basic thinking.
