Flats or plot?

hey guys!

I need ur suggestion.I want to buy one house. I have two options one flat 5th floor(top most) 1850 sq feet area, floor plan is very good, location is good near dharam karam road, but it is costing me 30 lakh.Another is 26-27 lakh independent house near JNTU but its 10-12 yrs old.

can u suggest anyting seriously ?

the indie house...its better anyday...u can remodel as u want...u r the king of yr compound...and the location of the house is good too...

go for the flat only if u can afford an AC too.......top floor mein garmi ke dinon mein halat kharab ho jaati hyd mein

indipendent house is good any day....

I'd definitely encourage you to go for the house. Its old, but you can re-model at will. You'll have a lot more privacy too.

Then when youve decided to move on to another house, you can always sell it. The value of the house will go up too. So either way, its a win-win situation.

Er.... not to step on any toes here, but , whichisgood, isn't this a decision which has to be made based on what you think right? and wont advice just confuse the bejesus outta u. jus wondering!!! :roll:

I'd definitely encourage you to go for the independent house. Its old, that will be no problem. 10 years before I bought a old house just for IRS.4 lakh 50 thousand and now only the land value is 24 lakh rupees.

that is true gifti but dont u think 30 lakhs is big money? i m not tata-birla! so i need to think before taking decision and its always good to know what other people think

thats true BM, independent house is always good so finally i dropped the idea of flat but again security wise flats are always better, that house although good enough but some what far from coloney. So again there is a problem because we r only two and both working. Anyway i m seeing all the possibilities.

well u can say i m not hyderabadi otherwise my relatives parents were doing all these things and i would be tension free. Anyway i liked hyderabad better than bangalore and Delhi so i m thinking of settling here. Lets see when?

thanks yaar i can afford AC but nyway i m dropping that 5th floor flat. Lets see when my search completes... :cry:

In this case you should find a house in a colony where houses are located side by side.
