thanQ, Buzurg-ji for supporting me with a well written piece.Buzurg wrote:How on this good earth did this become a racism issue !? As CtrlAltDel said it's clearly an issue of 'Nationalism'. Let us not cry wolf too often lest the politicians make it an issue for their benefit as the then ousted party, Congress did during the 80's in Hyderabad and hundreds perished from all communities.
i dont think being minority is an issue here coz i know many hindus who support sonia's candidature. Its just a case of mis-placed large heartedness. It cud also be a desire to earn pats from people abroad for this large-heartedness. as far as my knowledge gos no country in this world allows people like sonia to become PMs - after just abt 20 yrs of citizenship. heck, even our constitution disallows citizen below 25 yrs from contesting MP elections (which is why Varun Gandhi cudn't contest this time). all this is bcoz of her f***ing surname....Buzurg wrote:...Do you belong to one of the minority groups? I also see that BM and Imran belong to a minority as I do too but they seem to be agreeing with you, though, unlike me.
nobody wud answer this, but instead ask back "Why do we be like others? we follow the Great Indian Culture". a load of bull.Buzurg wrote:Which country, either a Muslim or a Christian country, has elected as their leader a person from a minority group ?
sad but true. my opposition to sonia is not to mean that i am a BJP supporter. i voted BJP only coz of vajpayee and the booming economy (that it failed to reach large part of the masses is another sad story, but it does not mean the economic policies were wrong). i lost all regard for BJP after Gujarat.Buzurg wrote:...Remember, no politician is a saint nor is he/she in the politics to 'serve' the country. I am still trying to understand, Peeping Tom, what could have made you think Sonia Gandhi's issue is about race? Do you belong to one of the minority groups?

Hi Mr Buz,
I am a Hindu. Described as Brahmin in official records.
I suffered infact, battered by the Reservation policies.Well Its ok.
Now coming to the point, As the years passed, I was deeply wounded seeing the incidents of worst Racism still existing in Hindu religeon. I think in the whole world Hindu religeon is the only religeon which officially authorize 'Racism' (RULES OF MANU)
I have seen in my south indian villages, Muslims dont follow or throw racism against black colored people.
Bajrang dal,RSS, and Shivsena are Racially tainted organisations.
Let them not racism then let we see.
Bi

yes that i agree...but we shud remember that education and materialism are the tools to wipe out casteism. look in the cities. who cares about caste of the co-worker or waiter in a hotel or yr co-passenger...? give everyone education and a good job and no one wud have time to think of castes and in a generation or two it wud disappear.ZC wrote:i am not comparing Hinduism with other religions...i am comparing Hinduiusm---different sections within.........
before Hindus complain abt racism elsewhere.......they shud stop racism within..........
