Andrew lives on Maui where his zest for life and his love of the tropics imbues his images with an uncanny vibrancy. His art work has tremendous photo-realism with detail to the point of being almost microscopic! Perhaps this is why Andrew's work has been referred to as "visionary realism". ... Much of his artistic inspiration comes from the Lemurian feeling of the Hawaiian islands, his enchantment with the tropical version of paradise, as well as his fascination with the primal, the archetypal, the mythological, and the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Greece, and Atlantis. * Bernard Xolotl lives between France and California. Besides being a visionary artist, Xolotl is also a well-known electronic space musician. Brian is recently deceased and is considered one of the top visionary artists of our age. Brian's work was and still is highly respected by his fellow painters. He is one of the featured artists on Iasos video "Crystal Vista". Brian's art has always been characterized by a wildly uninhibited imagination! Ken Jenkins



Ken Jenkins is the "high priest" of visionary videos, focusing on giving people beautiful "warm" visual patterns created optically or in video, and then "served" on a video platter. His intention is to offer people an "organic" type of changing beauty patterns - as an alternative to the types of "sharp line" patterns typical of computer graphics. In contrast to "music videos", he likes to think of his work as "visual music". Ken was the assistant producer on Iasos' video "Crystal Vista" and also provided a significant amount of special-effects footage for that video. Of course, Ken's own video "Illumination" is his shining master-piece and has won numerous awards.



Ken is also a Master of the Enneagram and teaches the Enneagram, as well as doing Enneagram personal consulting.



Keep in mind that still images do not do justice to Ken's art, which by its nature is poetry in motion.

Don Davis



Don lives in southern California and his paintings are embued with his fascination with astronomy, the inter-galactic cosmos, and the possibilities of space travel. He is one of the featured artists in Iasos' video program "Crystal Vista". Don is considered one of the foremost artists of astronomical art, and he in fact served as a consultant for the galaxy scenes in the movie Contact. Prints of his work are sold on-line by Novagraphics Space Art Gallery. One of the interesting pages on Don's own website, where you can also see some nice and very LARGE images, is "Public Domain Works Done for NASA".

Commentary by the artist: "This painting shows our home planet on a moonlit night in October. Astronauts say the range of brightness seen here is easily visible to the eye, but not to the camera, making this view impossible to photograph. From space mankind supplies city lights as well as flares from oil wells. Natural phenomena include lightning, and the northern lights (in a ring around the magnetic pole."
