adventure/outdoor activities

by Tango » Fri Jan 16, 2004 1:11 pm

hey there! i've been in hyderabad for over a year - but have been decidedly lazy to find activities outside of the workplace! one of my new year resolutions was to do something about it - so i'm here hoping to get some pointers in the general direction of such activity :D

fun things i've found so far include the karting tracks (Runway 9 and Treasure Island), parasailing (hussain sagar and vanasthalipuram) and erm... Liquids

does anyone know of places to go trekking, rappeling etc - or any groups/organisations that facilitate these kind of activities? suitable information can be rewarded with fermented barley :D

cheers,

Have you tried driving in Hyderabad traffic? It beats all that you listed out - serious.

Now, where's my beer? ;)

For first time climbers, the wall at Prasad's is pretty decent. 25 bux and you are allowed one try. I'm thinking of trying it sometime.

Uh-oh.....someone needs a major recap of the past months events.

After much discussing and debating and "rabbling" (word to azazel), we had a FH meet. Read the posts in the announcements section.
