aaah, this is gonna b my 1000th hopefully makin me an official DD

aur Kubrick's ACO se acha aur kya topic milega ??

so, here's my rant on the movie:

Stanley Kubrick, one of the greatest movie-makers in the world, also one of my fav. directors  , made A Clockwork Orange in '71 based on the Anthony Burgess novel of the same name.. which is slang for somethin artificial or non-existant ...

this British movie explores the themes of crime/justice/violence or in this case..ultra-violence/reformation all in a darkly stylised near-future .. Malcolm Mcdowell in a stunning performance as classical-music loving, Ultra-violent , Sadistic youth pulls the viewers into his chaotic world.. seen to be believed, this X-rated ..for the sex n violence, feature was banned for awhile n shocked most ppl who've seen it.. A stunning cinematic achievement, a pillar of Kubrick's distinguished career .. must-see

One of my favourite movie openings is the opening scene of ACO. The fake eyelash, the wierd look in the eye and glass of milk.

Praise cannot be showered as eloquently and frequently as cticism. So let's talk about a movie that we all (I hope) hate.

Seen Kill Bill 1 for second time yesterday. I missed the first half both times. Anyway, did you guys see the fight scene in the dark room (before black mumba spanks the kid with her sword). As she cuts off limbs, the people who fall down slowly crawl away, out of the camera frame. Its funny, reminded me of old DD 8 serials.

How come we had 86 posts on classic movies without a single mention of Trainspotting? or did I miss it?

AZAZEL........didyu say "artistic content" in reference to Titanic? I'm shocked that a dude as well versed as you in the matters of the reel life used those words.

Anyways like PSD says..."too each his own", so please explain to me what artistic content u saw in that movie.

spelling mistake :)

when siaf ali khan first appeared on the screen he looked more like a girl, whereas his wife amrita was exactly the opposite. v used to call him saif ali kahaan chali   and Mr. Amrita Singh.....thankfully he changed his hair style.
