Xiaowind wrote:I'm in envy of your English, do average Indians speak and write so fluently as guys in this board?
as ZC said not all indians. u can say abt 15% of the population speaks good english...but thats more than the population of some european countries put together!

at least in cities n big towns, u can find majority of educated people using good english. even most of shop signs and road signs are in english too.

Zhangjiajie surely is one of top 10 scenery of China, it is 300 miles away from Changsha where i live. Of course it's very convenient from here to Zhangjiajie... and, here located the most important airport of Hunan.

CtrlAltDel wrote:abt 15% of the population speaks good englis

15% is a very high rate, i think to a great extent India's IT boom owes to that.

ZC's definition may not be very exact, check the information below:

Author: from Mainland
Producer: from Taiwan
Director: from Taiwan
Leading actor: from Hongkong
Leading actress: from Mainland
Martial arts director: from Hongkong

This kind of collaboration is a familiar in China movie industry.

ZC wrote:Now we have to debate if Taiwan belongs to China

no need to debate, Indian government dosn't recognise Taiwan, that's enough.

Thx for all your praise to Zhangjiajie, i'm proud of it :) May be it's a good idea to initiate an images thread.

The shooting place is the Huangshan Mountain, which is also one of top 10 natural scenery in Anhui province, but now i don't have a link at hand. :(

Maybe you are right, who cares? In fact it isn't the kind of movie i like. It may be the most famous ( of Chinese movie ), and, that dosent' means it is the best.

I don't know much about the situation in India, literally secularism seems not bad.

whats secularism got to do with brits? its not their legacy. anyways, secularism is the only thread that keeps us 2gether and differentiates us from many other countries. without it there cud've been a 100 partitions till now.

i agree its been misused now and then but we cannot do without it, somewhat like this discussion board :D

i may hate nehru for 101 things, but if i respect him for some things, secularism is one of them.

cant blame that concept if its misused in some cases can we?
