yeh saw it once a few months back.

BTW u watch Jurm on Aajtak? y`day they showed abt tha daakus in chambal ki ghaati. i tell u man they can match the italian maphias.

then most of them were rebels but today they r more by choice. u know they operate in most parts thru agents, main activity being kidnapping. they have the latest weapons, LMG`s, night vision cameras, mobiles and what not. they dont need cars as in chambal u can only walk, not even a horse is useful.

btw, Bandit Queen was the most realistic portrayal of dacoits...notice that they dont thunder around on horses unlike other movie dacoits n and have exotic caves as hideouts!

yeh it was well researched. if u try to ride a horse in chambal u will die in no time as the horse will loose its balance n u will plunge 2 ur death.

they only come out in the day time.......raat mein jo baahar aaya woh mara.

each dacoit cooks his own meal. very suspicious of the other guy. in the old days women were a strict no no.

Bandit Queen was one of the best/realistic movies of the 90's , hell all-time.. didnt make any compromises with the subject/content .. Seema Biswas [correct ?!?!] was born to play that role.. too bad she's never got another role as challengin as that ..
