Don't be so shocked, Ctrl! Its called a bidet, a French bidet to be exact...I think they invented it. It was to have status in the Victorian Era whatever along those lines period where those rare amenities were considered high class.

P.S. Just make sure you don't drink from it!

Wipe - Wash : A national debate

by Alien Hyderabadi » Thu Apr 08, 2004 10:57 am

Its time that the nation came up with an Article in the constitution clarifying the nation's position on the wipe-wash issue. A commission need to be appointed to study history, and understand what our freedom fighters did... did they wipe or washed ? Or did they never had the time to do either ?

Once legislations are in place, the local government need to have "Policing" of each user area to ensure compliance to the country's policy...

Well...Paani Bachaoo is always welcome... but do we cut more trees to make tissue papers for one billion asses to be wiped atleast twice a day ?

The arguement continues.....

yechchchchc... :?

C A D ... there's a separate jet much above the water in the pot ... it issues upward in an arc and cleans the target ... it can be used independent of the flush!

I saw another version, in the North ... installed by one who worked / lived in ME ... Here, the Cleanser Jet is just at the top of the WC ... it issues horizontally and cleanses the Target ... One may beware of being pricked by the sharp orifice of C J ... Of Course, No botheration to hands or of Toilet Paper!

Perhaps someone may tell the Group on the Luxuries / Conveniences of the Japanese Developments, ie the JC vis-a-vis the WC or MC ...

On with the pursuit of 'happiness' at the 'fundament'al level!

A "Bidet'" has an additional Feature, apart from being more "commodious" than the WC, that of the Warmed Rim (with Warm Water from the Hot Water System, for use by the Ladies in Cold Climates ...)

Because 1or 2, "THEY" Squat ... For 1 "M" can Stand & Release; for 2 "M" can be "Outgoing", also, if needed! ...
