For all the Enrique fans..

by Vinita Manohar » Wed Mar 17, 2004 12:38 pm

Hi all,

Enrique will be in B'lore on April 13th. For more details check this out http://cities.expressindia.com/fullstory.php?newsid=78588

Why don't we have such fundu things here in Hyd ? :( It was sad enough having to go all the way to Bangalore to see Bryan Adams perform now here's the next one coming. Anybody planning to go? From my experience of the Bryan Adams concert i can tell you that it is worth all the penny that u spend and all the push and pull that u experience just to be a part of it. All said and done I don't think I can make it this time coz the event is on tuesday and getting leave is an issue. Boss are you reading this???

Heard the latest rumor?

Enrique's gay and he's having an affair with Justin Trousersnake and that gay guy from Boyzone. Awesome Threesome.

Is your picture from an old horror movie?

Or a stage play? I don't recognize it.

to me it looks like John Travolta in Swordfish...but cant be sure...the pix too small.

abt Enrique...well...i am not exactly a Latino fan. to me all latino songs sound alike...u hear one..u've heard all of em. the same beats, same tempo, same music...tho individual numbers may be good, i cant listen to it continously, say an entire album in one go.

i find Latino as monotonous as bhangra-pop...the same beat, same words - "kudi, mundya, rabba, soniye"...etc etc...even the singers' voices sound alike...

of corz i know many wud disagree with me...but remember its just my opinion.

You know, I think you're right, now that you mention it, it does seem like him! But I wouldn't know because I don't watch his movies and I didn't watch Swordfish.

Enrique sucks... he cant sing for nuts. His only claim to fame is.. he is the son of Julio Iglesias and dates Anna Kurnikova. He doesnot write his songs and sings all weird numbers which lack any message in them. He is Britany Spears without boobs. He has nothing new to offer. Boooooo

Wake me up.. If "Eagles" are in town.... Did you hear the song "Hole in the World".. awesome.. Every song of theirs is... Awesome... They Rawk.

True Vinita,

I also agree, all top events are not happening in this city. The Bryan Adams show was really very good to say the least. It is not always possible to travel for events like this and especially if it is happening on a Weekday. Mr. Chandrababu Naidu had taken lots of efforts to bring F1 race track to the city..could he not make atleast 10% of that effort to bring a rock/pop show to this city!!

However, I've just discovered Marylin Manson. Perhaps he (?) can heal the wounds of disappointment.

I think Hyderabad is quite well off without Enrique Iglesias. I didn't mind his music, initially, but I think he's become too repetitive of late. Also, he has this whiny, lost-puppy look that disgusts me.

However, I don't doubt that the concert will be full of raving fans of the female persuasion. Perhaps wolves in search of happy hunting grounds will find this reason enough to travel to Bangalore, Enrique notwithstanding?
