Howdy to all fellow headbangers of Hyderabad. I have been searching for people into rock/metal music like me for a long time now, but i cant say that i have been too successful. I listen to any kind of rock but i prefer metal/heavy metal and the newer alternative stuff with a bit of NU attached. My fave is and always has been Metallica. Their story is an inspiration and can be adapted into a movie anytime. The way they entered when rock was at a crossraods and revolutionised metal music along with GNR is simply extraordinary. My other faves are Maiden, GNR, Slayer, Pantera, Megadeth, Sepultura, Black Sabbath, RATM, and Rob. Among the newer breed of alternative and nu-metal i listen mostly to LP, Papa Roach, System of a down, Nickelback, Disturbed, B-182, Korn, POD, Puddle and Drowning Pool. I have also recently started my own band (i play drums... im not too good though). Its called 'From the Tenth Planet'. We are currently jamming slow songs on acoustic guitars from Metallica and Bryan Adams. We are looking for a bassist. Anyone interested?

Azazel, can you throw more light on this event on Feb 20th at Qwicky's? (the one on SP road? There used to be other branches, i guess). Who is that 'premier metal act in town'? What time is the show? I hope there are no tickets to be purchased. Jus tolerating the coffee served there shud do I suppose ;)

Hey pal, the 'Wreakage' show was cancelled, apparently due to 'technical problems'. I went all the way to AF, Marredpally to learn this :) Tried to call AF b4 the show n no one would lift the fone.

Now is the Sledge show on at least? Dont want to be dissappointed two times during the same weekend :)
