An addendum to the saibaba topic

A lot has been said on that thread about God or not...and I won\'t elaborate on it. I do share certain views about it though..and if anyone is interested in knowing them (though it shouldn\'t make a difference to anyone as to what my views on God are), they are welcome to mail me (my email address is on the hyd_rocks group). I\'ll definitely share my views with them.
 
 As I said earlier, my views shouldn\'t really make a difference to others. I believe very firmly that religion is something very private to a person and I don\'t think it should be made into a topic for debate on a message board. There is enough animosity already pervading the air around us. Why spoil it even more?
 
 I\'m very proud of my religion. But that doesn\'t mean that I can thrust my religion or its tenets on anyone else. The very bane of our society today is that they have grossly misinterpreted the term \"secularism\". According to me, and I challenge anyone who differs to a debate, the whole idea of secularism is an extension of \"Live and let live\"...something like \"Believe in your faith and let others believe in theirs\". Due to this, we have so-called mature adults parading their religious preferences in public and thereby harming the very secular existence of our nation.
 
 I therefore request everyone not to post anything based on religion. Let\'s save some sanity. If at all you are itching so much to talk about religion, please do so in private.

 Goes to show quite well as to who needs the lecture more. Just because you\'re URBAN doesnt make it your prerogative to talk about the so called \"in-things\" dude.
 
 Mind you, the very same villagers you spoke about so demeaningly in your post might be better informed and saner than you.
 
 My sincere request to you would be to talk only if you can improve on the silence.

I don\'t know how you guys will take this, but I\'ll try my best.....
 there is a huge funtion going on, lots of people, big crowds and in all this hustle there is a dad with a 3 yr. old girl....
 suddenly dad has to step away for a few minutes, he leaves the little girl there, after a few seconds she starts to cry.
 where is my daddy ?? where is my daddy. !!!!
 so every one jumps to calm her. someone gives her a choclate, one gives her some money, sombody car keys to play and so on.........
 after few seconds daddy comes back.
 the girl drops everything from her hands and jumps to dad.....
 so this 3 yr. old girl knows who dad is.
 today we are 20 yrs, 25 yrs, 35 yrs........
 we don\'t know who god is.

 Life is so full of paradoxes. Its not easy to understand or know God if you search around you. Its a hell of a difficult task. At the same time, knowing God is as easy as knowing thyself. All it requires is that extra dose of dedication and devotion.

hey buddy... this is not a debate. see the hyper link and u\'ll find \"discussion boards\" written. so u don\'t have to \'quot\' every time, u don\'t need to demine someother person. if u\'ve got to back ur plea up, then do it sanely. first learn how to participate in a discussion, then we\'ll see who\'s right and who\'s not.

Hey dudes, take it easy & stop fighting.
 
 The existence of god depends on one\'s trust and one need not agree to other\'s trust. But this madness of trust always turning the innocent people towards this blind faith & making them suffer.
 
 Let me talk about Mother Theressa declared a sa saint & the reason for her naming a saint. A lady put the photo of Mother tHeresa on her injured part & after some time, her injury gone without any meditation. What we are trying to tell here??
 
 Who will be responsoble if the remote village people trust this faith & dont go for any doctor & dont take medicines?? Who will be responsble for their deaths?? Will Mother theressa comes and prtect thei lives??
 
 Trust for god always should have some limit, especially when you are giving publicity for them.
