The outcome of the Adielade Test proves that no matter how good you may be doing, never get too ambitious. The Aussies have gone out of their way to prove before the world their superiority over other cricket nations what with forcing plaerys like the Waughs to retire prematurely.Australia simply don\'t have the bowlers to bowl a good team out once they see McGrath and Warne retire.
They have been trying to set examples for others but in doing so,they\'ve gone way too far.I think the great Aussie age is coming to an end.In the coming years, its going to be teams like India,Pakistan and New Zealand who will give them a run for their money.

Any team will face this problem of generation change. West Indies dominated the Cricket world for 10 years in 1970s & then with the retirements of the greats like Layod,Richards, Walsh, Ambrose etc, they were turned into an ordinary team which lost 30 of their last 35 test matches.

Australia will definitely face the same. With the retirement of Steve waugh, MAcgrath,Warne,Gilepse,Hayden(all are 30+ now) this Australian team will be turned into an ordinary team.

This is also an eye opener for Indian Team selectors when we want to look ahead. The big 4 are in their early 30s & its the high time for the selectors to plan a long-term strategy & find out players who can replace these players without any problems.

But we are in right track for this one. Already we have seen Sehwag,Yuvraj,Kaif stepping into these 4 big boy\'s shoes. Also we have seen Zaheer taking the place of Srinath, Harbhazan replacing Kumble. So its a good future team for India whch will dominate the cricket world in the enxt 10 years.
