Working nights is a bitch. But then, I really enjoy the work per se. Anyways....didn\'t see anyone posting for quite some time on the board, so thought of starting a new thread.
 
 What\'s playing on your comp @ work or home? I mean do u listen to music when you\'re browsing? If so, what?
 
 As for me, its either some smashing classic rock (I feast on Dire Straits, Guns-n-Roses and the fantabulous Pink Floyd) or some lilting hindi film melody from the 50s or 60s...sometimes 70s.
 
 Right now, I\'m listening to good old Kishoreda. The number is Kehna Hai...from Padosan. Next in line is Musafir Hoon Yaaron....from Parichay.

 Does anyone know of a site where one can download MP3 songs for free (I mean really free!), coz i was looking for the song \"walk of life\" by Dire Straits but I was unsuccessful to find an appropriate site. As far as hindi music is concerned, I think Musicindiaonline.com is a good site if u jus wanna listen to Indian songs.

Kids (Compulsive, Habitual, Rehabilitated and what not), I think a little tip would be appropriate here

You (i.e. the sender) can upload the mp3 file to a Yahoo Briefcase and email the link to the receiver. The receiver can then download the song using the link. Yahoo Briefcase allows up to 30MB (5 - 8 songs?) of storage per id. FTP et al is passé.
 
 PS: Does anyone have Scorpions_Fly_People_Fly.mp3?

 And Unwell....Have tried Yahoo Briefcase earlier. Wouldn\'t let you upload files more than 3MB in size. Too bad...isn\'t it?

Habitual, not really (unless your \'earlier\' was long, long ago). Yahoo Briefcase currently has a one-time upload limit of 5MB (most songs fall within this limit).
 
 Even if you want to upload a mega song of 7/8 MB, you can use file splitting features of programs like WinZip i.e. you divide the 8MB into two files of 4MB and upload it one after another. At the other end, the receiver can join the files using the same Winzip.
 
 Mesmer, I do have \'Walk of life\' on CD, as well as the required software to rip it to an mp3 file. But you want me to do that sin?

Ok, no probs, i\'ll do it over the weekend. Pls give the email id to which i can send the link. (hope the RIAA is not watching)

The last time I checked was...around 6-8 months ago...which can be branded a long-long time by cyber standards. Unwell...thanx buddy...I stand corrected.

HP, you cannot provide the file links here at FH. You can only email it to contacts you know or share the folders with \'friends\' i.e. those with a Yahoo ID. Public access to folders is a \'premium\' service (euphemism for \'feedom\' as against \'freedom\'
